Whoever want to hire vehicle from this company I'm warning you don't do it\u200d️ they are bunch of scammers I guarantee you they will ruin your holiday or trips. The worst service anybody could not imagine, way below Australian standards. If you request Mercedes they will provide kia If you request manual transmission they will provide you automatic or other way around. The worst of worst!

Unjustified additional fees, not willing to admit their inaccuracies in the way they communicate with customers. Briefly, I made a reservation from AVV to MEL, which did include a one-way fee. I dropped off the car at Tullamarine, and no one ever told me that, apparently, there are 2 drop off locations in Tullamarine (even when the car was scanned at drop off, the officer did not make any mention about this - if she did, I could have just driven one mile from there!). Even so, my rental included a one-way fee anyway!! I was charged additional 100 for this, I contacted customer service (miss ADC) but she claimed it was for the one-way fee and upon questioning, she failed to explain the exact nature of this charge (wasn't a one-way fee obviously) and refused to refund. Will never use them again.

What a farce. Took 4 days and countless emails and phone calls (ALL OF WHICH WERE DIRECTED TO AN OVERSEAS CALL CENTRE) for Europcar to confirm that they had located the keys for my own car that I left in the vehicle that I rented at Tullamarine and that they were in Lost Property but had not been logged. Finally able to organise a courier to collect them but the courier waited 30 minutes and they refused to serve him even though he said he was a courier. He left....had to book a second courier who waited 20 minutes...Meanwhile I am paying for courier futile fees and waiting time and for my car that is stuck at Sydney Airport Parking at 80.00 per day. My message to potential customers is be careful you don't leave something in the car because its hell to get it back as the customer service is a farce. MY MESSAGE TO EUROPCAR IS SIMPLE: ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!!!!

Our experience was 1st Class. All 3 Staff at the Desk on a busy Monday Morning were absolutely lovely.The Guy that attended to us was fairly new and the 2 ladies were Super Helpful. Nothing was a bother. Our 2019 Kia Cerato Sport was perfect for our Trip. After Hours drop off was easy and convenient. Highly recommended...Thank you

As you can see that the majority of my reviews are positive but not in this case. I had booked and paid in full a book a week before arriving to Melbourne. Upon our arrival one of the most unprofessional customer service staff member stated that we owed despite the fact that I could show her a receipt stating that I had paid in full and having a representative on the phone stating that indeed I had paid in full. We were not able to cancel the car and get a refund so we had no options but to pay the extra , so in essence we were held hostage by this particular staff member, either pay Europcar the extra or lose everything, no car no refund. I think what made it worse, if it possibly could, was this particular staff members arrogance, ignorance and self importance, not once did she grab a manager or show any understanding at how frustrating this is. As you can see by my TripAdvisor account that I am fortunate enough to travel the world yearly and never have I experienced the unprofessionalism as I have from a staff member representing a company. I have given her name over to Europcar but haven’t received anything back. Unless you are willing to turn up knowing that they can ask for more I wouldn’t touch this company with a 10 foot pole

Never, never car hire at Europcar Melbourne. They are dishonest! They stole me! I delivered the car with a full tank, I have photos and proof of fueling the car, plus the Europcar receipt on 10/09/2019. Days later they changed the invoice and charged me for the fuel! I sent several emails and they don't even answer me. No answer! Thieves! I want my money back!
