Wow what a beautiful spot. Great for a swim, bit of a rough walk in the wet but surely worth it.

Rough road going in, 4WD definitely required. Wasn't sure if it existed since the signs were all homemade, not the normal touristy signs but worth the journey in and the little trek to the falls itself.
Amazing waterfall with a nice little swimming hole. Took the family there and the kids enjoyed the rope swings out of the trees into the pond. The walk-in is a little bit tricky but is easily manageable. Seen some old people around 65 to 70 years old which did the track. Only a 30 minute drive from Cooktown but would definitely do this again I'm back
Awesome place. The 800 mt walk down is not for the faint hearted.
Hard to get to, worth the effort
One of the most beautiful falls we have been to. Fairly out of the way but well worth the trip. A must if you are around Cooktown. As previously said... A 4x4 is probably recommended to get here. Not an extreme drive but a bit bumpy in places. Straight down Mt Amos Rd and follow the signs to the falls.
Bit of a rough walk but was great to see and swim. Slippery rocks. Be cautious
Great place to visit for nice cool swim
