Friendly staff and efficient process for getting the COVID-19 vaccine

The Reception staff are generally friendly and assist you but are very busy with telephone call and patients waiting. Covid has contributed to their busy role. Dr's are good but as with many rural practices very heavily booked and overworked. Unfortunately, LRH is not always accommodating to seniors and they returned to GP's.

Since moving to Traralgon we have been going to Hillcrest Family Medicine as they have proven to be knowledgeable about all of our medical needs. The service is friendly and we rarely have to wait long for our appointments.

Dr Nameera is next to useless. Said she would send a referral for an endocrinologist through, it’s been two months and the specialist hasn’t received it. Refused to send me for tests I required as directed by another clinic, spoke over me continuously. Accused me of promiscuity (I’m in a long term relationship, which was on the notes), alcoholism and drug abuse (I don’t drink at all and rarely even take pain killers, also on the notes) because I have liver damage because doctors like her refuse to listen so my body has started attacking my organs, which could have been prevented if even one bothered to listen to me since I was a child. Then she told me to just lose weight. Ive been 50kg all the way up to 100kg over the past 17 years and I can confirm that the issue is not my weight. When I went for an in person appointment she wore her mask under her nose. I’m chronic asthmatic and I wear a mask just fine so she has no excuse. Reception staff are also rude. One of the worst clinics I’ve been to. And Dr Nameera is just another negligent doctor that adds to medical trauma. I am sick of doctors getting to totally ignore patients without repercussions, when we’re the ones who have to live in agony. Their inability to listen is actively killing people.
