OVERVIEW Transdev Sydney has proudly operated Sydney Light Rail since 1999 and currently operates the Inner West Light Rail network on behalf of Transport for NSW. The $176 million extension included nine new stops and 5.6km of new track, connecting the existing light rail service, operating from Central to Lilyfield, to Dulwich Hill in the inner west. Future opportunities Transdev Sydney is also part of the ALTRAC Light Rail consortium charged with design, construction, operation and maintenance of the $2.1 billion, 12km, CBD and South East Light Rail extension from Circular Quay to Kensington and Randwick, due to open early 2019.
