Tower Hill is home to some of the animals that Australia loves the most. Within this magnificent dormant volcano near the Great Ocean Road, emus, kangaroos, koalas, swans, ducks and blue wrens all live. Walk through wetlands, craters and bushlands and hear how early settlers exploited the park before volunteers reclaimed it. In a large volcanic crater, Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve lies. It is one of the most interesting and important geological forms in Victoria. From the lakes, volcanic cone-shaped hills rise. It's a short detour from the Great Ocean Road and provides people of all abilities with enough walking opportunities, from basic boardwalks to scenic climbs.

Always a pleasure coming through Tower Hill. It's a totally FREE park. We Love all the animals. Today we saw an echidna, emus, kangaroos, koala, bunnies, birds & lizards. It's Very clean & well looked after. Clean toilets available as well as seating for eating, just watch those cheeky emus they will eat your food right out of your hands. This is always a favourite spot for us & we always come back

We took the tour with Jac. It was a good tour and we learned more about the area, plants, and culture. Thank you to the team taking care of Tower Hill. I recommend the tour and visiting the area.

Rather than take one of the gazetted routes, we picked our own walk using the map from the information kiosk. The path was well kept and it was an easy walk. Saw emus and koalas on the walk. There is mobile reception throughout the park, so maps came in useful to know where we were.

Always stop by. A fabulous place in a fabulous district. Discovered some spectacular spots this time in the surrounding caldera rim. Whether you go for a walk inside, with the abundant wildlife (promise, not a drop bear in sight) or up with the views at the Telstra tower (left at the reserve exit).

Great views, plenty of wildlife and some great walks! There's quite a few emus, kangaroos and koalas to be seen roaming the landscape. There's a visitor centre and gift shop with plenty of information on the area available. No dogs allowed unfortunately. Toilet facilities available.

Absolutely incredible. Walking to the top of an old volcano is a cool experience. Hiking up the top you get some incredible views. Wild emus everywhere, including on the drive down, so be careful! Lots of water taps available and a kiosk for snacks. Would be great to bring the family for a picnic. So much bushland!
