Had to cover my nose the entire time, the smell was unbearable. Obviously cruel to the animals. There were dozens of birds shoved in small cages, where they can barely move. The puppies and kittens looked like they were trapped in a jail cell, they had barely any space to move and only had one bowl for water and one for food to share amongst the 15-20 of them. There were large gaps in between the bars allowing the poor, playful puppies to nip at the kittens, allowing visible sores to appear on their faces, which the staff obviously haven’t done anything about. I hate to think about what happens to the animals that don’t get bought.

We've been buying our dog and cat biscuits from Pets Galore for years. Good prices and great service from an independent business.
My family and I really like shopping at Pets Galore. The help we get is always great and the staff knowledge is amazing. My 14yr old son also learns a lot about his reptiles and the advice is always genuine.
Good service, staff well informed and knowledgeable. Big store with lots to see.
PICTURES ATTACHED We visited a few months back. As soon as we entered the smell around the fish was horrendous and we could hardly stand to stay in there. When asking the price for shrimp, it took almost 20 minutes for the lady to find the price? When recently visted, there is now a sign to say that animals create smells and to expect some odors. As we entered we were hit with a extreme amount of sweet perfume which they have obviously added to mask the smell. The fish were heavily overcrowded as well as the birds, turtles and guinea pigs to the extent where there were 8 guinea pigs in a display cage that was meant for two and the baby turtles did not have anywhere to bask! The platform where the turtles should be basking was higher than the water level so the turtles could not go on it. Two border collies were in a tiny enclosure in comparison to their size and activity level. They were displaying an extremely high energy level, as well as the smaller dogs which proved they do not recieve enough walks and stimulation. They were next to the heavily crowed cat cage and when a cat neared their enclosure they would bark and chase the cat through the bars until the cat got scared and ran away. Considering this is meant to be the animal's 'safe space' whilst customers are browsing, this situation was utterly disgusting. Overall it was heartbreaking to see and will hopefully get shut down soon. The animals should not be in an environment with no space, no stimulation and an unclean enclosure. It's clear the owner may have a love for her animals but is uneducated on their behaviours and necessities and should not keep the shop open.
Me and my family absolutely love coming to visit your store. Always so much to see. I am surprised we have not left with more animals. The maltzhu (I think) puppies that we saw last visit would melt your heart. Absolutely beautiful. Don't let negative people get you down. You do an amazing job. It is hard in a world of wingers to do what you do. Wait until they have kids and understand what mess is. We will continue to support you and your business.
Disgusting place, every part of the shop had its own disgusting smell. A big hole in the wall which smelled like rats where living. Cockroaches crawling around the place. The fish where jammed pack in tanks, dead fish rotting away on bottom of the tanks. Worker ask if we were "all good". Walked out feeling sick and sorry for the animals in that conditions. Definitely would not recommend this business it needs to be shut down or maybe some knowledge.
Rude customer service. Arrogant staff.
