Really very good. Delightful couple running the place. Top food for such an inauspicious place. Highly recommend it. A small but sufficient range of very good sake. Really high quality fish for an inland town. Very reasonable pricing. If I'm ever in Toowoomba again I'd be back here in a flash.

Meal options are many and varied. Excellent quality. Prices are very reasonable, including a good range of 12 lunch specials (as of March 2021). If you have dietary needs, such as gluten-free and dairy-free requirements, the chef will pay special attention to your requests. Centrally located in Toowoomba. Off-street parking available.

Ramen is terrible!!!! My partner and I had ramen travelling around Japan and also inside of Australia at the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Melbourne and both have been beautiful with a soft egg, beautiful tasting stock and beautiful noodles. My partner and I both ordered 2 different ramens so we both tried each others hoping we could swap because we never leave a restaurant without eating all the food ordered and it was just inedible Other food may be alright but the ramen NONO

Our group of four had dinner at ICHI Japanese restaurant. The food was quiet good and plentiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our evening and would recommend to others who enjoy Japanese food. So happy some restaurants out there still serving tonkatsu and have not converted 100% chicken.
