Going there during happy hour for some tasty comforting Japanese curry, costs 6 for beef/seafood/chicken/spicy chicken, you can add salad or potatoes for 1. Always a solid meal, nothing to complain. It’s in no way extraordinary; but it’s worth all 6 of your dollars and you won’t be disappointed.

Mr Curry is based on a simple idea. Japanese curry. That's it. One of the things I like about Mr Curry is the salad that comes with each meal. I really enjoy the dressing, it's subtle. This outlet of Mr Curry frequently has end of day specials which are good value, but don't have the salad. It is possible to get variations. My partner didn't want any rice so they made chicken with salad no problems.
Can I get a large beef curry? Sorry we don't do beef curry anymore. Do you have calamari？ Sorry we don't have calamari. Then may I have two boxes of chicken katsu? Sorry we only have spicy chicken. But, the curry is really delicious. NGL
I had two incidents where the girl behind the counter, Masami, has provided very bad custom er service, she was inflexible and unhelpful. One time the meat of the curry was so fatty and chewy, she refused to give me a serve of a different meat instead of a refund. Second time she hardly gave me Calamari I’m the seafood curry, upon pointing it out kindly, she did nothing to rectify that. I am a good customer there and extremely disappointed that the service is so bad and willingness to make a good customer happy is non existing! May be the manager should have a look into it.
Simple chicken curry, taste is similar to other Japanese style curries that you have probably had elsewhere. Portion size is okay, i would say its filling when you are not too hungry. Quick service, since it was close to closing time, all meals were only 5! Very good deal. The food was still pleasantly warm in the pack. I would say getting this is more fulfilling than getting spring rolls from Fantasia for the same price. PS : There is an additional 0.10 charge for orders under 10 if you are going to pay by EFTPOS.
Truly the best fast food restaurant i have ever been to, the food is magnificent and it takes less than 10 seconds for the food to be served. It only cost 6 Australian dollars for a whole plate of curry if you buy between 2pm until 4pm. There are 4 varieties of curry you can choose from and they are all 6 each. There is Beef, Seafood, Chicken Katsu, and Spicy chicken curry that you can choose from.
Value for money Jap curry rice. Good portion size. Quite tasty. Comes with a small side of salad. 5 bucks happy hour special !!!
