Dr David Willis was just incredible. After a severe tooth ache from my wisdom tooth, he fit me in quickly, reviewed my scans, talked through the procedure and took two of my wisdom teeth out in the chair. Excellent local anaesthetic made it a completely pain free procedure. He called the following day to check up on me and gave me clear post-op instructions. I had minimal post operative pain and swelling and am forever grateful to him for his excellent work. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth the recovery process was post-op, and I strongly believe Dr Willis' skill and experience played a huge part in how quickly I healed. I followed his post-op care instructions and had no issues with swelling (no pain or discomfort). I would highly recommend Dr Willis (Toothsome) if you're currently having issues with your wisdom teeth.

On my last visit to the dentist, I found out I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth and a dentigerous cyst close to the nerve which had to be removed ASAP. I knew my search for a good oral surgeon was over the moment I went in for my initial consultation. I needed additional x-rays and Dr David Willis took the time to do the legwork with finding me a bulk-billing imaging centre in my area (I travelled from Southern Sydney) so I wouldn't be out of pocket. That to me showed trustworthiness and a genuine interest in working with his patients. Fast forward to the day and the procedure went smoothly. I went home pain-free and was eating normally again within a week. What sets a good surgeon apart from the rest is how easy it is to contact them and the sense of responsibility they demonstrate AFTER the surgery; treatment doesn't always finish on the same day. I had no issues contacting Dr Willis with questions and he would respond in a reasonable time, whether it was on a weekday or the weekend. Admittedly, I am not an easy patient and get anxious when dentists reach into my mouth but Dr Willis' calm and patient demeanour put me at ease and I knew I was in the best hands. It was worth the travel to see him. Dr Willis has been removing tens of wisdom teeth each week for the past 15 or so years. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a genuine passion for his work. With this fact and my personal experience, I would not hesitate in recommending him to anyone requiring wisdom teeth surgery. Thank you so much Dr Willis! :)
