Used to have a good selection of movies... but the twice I used them in 2019, movie selection was poor, very mainstream, very dull, just one movie of the 28 I really wanted to see.
This company provides internet and movie services to Travelodge and other hotels. Today I paid 10/day for premium internet service, to improve upon the about .5 mbps that is free. I then did a speed test and it was 1.0 up/down. Travelodge rang Movielink support, and the customer service person wanted to speak with me, so the call was transferred to me room. This woman argued with me that Premium service is 1.0 up/down. I told her that was unacceptable, it was barely faster than the free service and it needs to get fixed. I got back around 5 PM, did the speed test, and it is slower: .9 up/down. Movielink did NOTHING all day. I rang again. I was asked questions including What operating system is on your computer? Unbelievable! A known tactic to waste customer time with irrelevant questions and tasks until customer finally give up. So the issue has been escalated. Intermittently the connection drops out completely. MovieLink is incompence in action. They cannot tell me when the escalation person will ring me back, where my issue is in the queue etc. So primitive in customer service tools. Since I need reasonable internet access to work, I am stuck and very annoyed.
