Stopped in here while travelling around north east Victoria over the Easter hols. Anyone contemplating going here, I thoroughly recommend it. Not far from other worthy stops in Milawa, if you’re already doing those then definitely add this to the agenda. Beautiful setting down a short dirt road, we were welcomed by the sight of goats as soon as we turned in. Once the car was parked we were then greeted by more goats, 2 super friendly dogs, a wonderful shaded area with some things for the kids, then some tables and chairs in a peaceful courtyard type setting. Inside the small cellar door I enjoyed a chat with the friendly owner, bought a couple of things to enjoy later (which have now been well and truly enjoyed), then soaked in the atmosphere for a while with the wife and kids. Unfortunately we’d already eaten, otherwise I would have loved to have tried the tasting platter. I will remember to save space upon my next visit. Keep up the good work guys!

Worth the drive out to this gorgeous little farm. You feel the warm family welcome as the goats greet you in the carpark and you take a seat in the backyard. The tasting platter was excellent value for money, with 5 beautiful, fresh house made cheeses. It was awesome to see the cheese being made on arrival, and great to be able to take some home too. Booking online was super easy too.

Melissa and Donovan are two of the most gracious and welcoming hosts in the northeast region! Their cheese is not only award-winning but absolutely delicious, and the garden seating is beautiful for an afternoon of wining and dining! Always accommodating and beyond accepting of any and all visitors. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Keep up the amazing work Jacka Family

There is something uniquely special about visiting a working farm, especially one that is family owned and operated. The passion really shows. We keep coming back to Tolpuddle again and again because it’s consistently great! The baby goats are gorgeous and the cheese is delicious - we ordered a platter and a bottle of wine to enjoy in the garden - so good. Such a quality experience for young and old! Highly recommend.

Always disappointing to see a brilliant local business attacked by online keyboard warriors. The reality is that those of us who have genuine medical exemptions to wearing a mask are more than happy to explain so. I for one have a relative with COPD and severe asthma who still wears a mask. Those that do not have a medical exemption and are using it as an excuse to put others in danger, are vicious, vile, and attack these hardworking, law-abiding businesses online. I would advise all of those reading such negative reviews to assess how many 5 star reviews this business has received (no mid-range reviews, only brilliance). I would also advise the business owners that defamation laws exist in Australia and the one-star reviews they have received in the last 24 hours are clearly from anti-science, anti-truth individuals who have not even visited the establishment and are therefore open to legal cases. I would encourage this hardworking family to take action against these bullies. (EDIT: it appears these individuals have been doing the same in groups to other businesses. It only takes a quick glance at their other reviews to figure this out. Not very smart.) I for one visited with a group of friends at the end of October and received brilliant service, delicious, local wine, and an absolutely fantastic cheese platter to rival all nearby food establishments. Shame on those who are willing to put others in danger. How privileged is your life that wearing a mask is the most oppressed you’ve ever felt?

A great little experience. The cheese platter was delicious and generous with a choice of local wines, beers or soft drinks. The goats are close enough to pat or cuddle. The hosts are very friendly, chatty and inclusive. A lovely relaxed atmosphere.

It’s always a great experience visiting Tolpuddle. Melissa and Donovan are so welcoming and go out of their way to ensure we have a good time. The cheeses are delicious and come from happy goats, whose welfare is paramount. Tolpuddle is a must for anyone visiting this beautiful part of Victoria. Can’t wait to return.
