What a delight!. An excellent Museum as good as McCrossins Mill at Uralla, , a huge range of history run by delightful knowledgeable Ladies. Devonshire Tea was fantastic, great scones, jam and cream beautifully presented. Do yourself a favour and visit. The town itself is in serious trouble, every visitor, every dollar will help them.

One of those quirky, eclectic, interesting, local museums that can be found in small towns. Run by long-term resident volunteers, who are very happy to share this collection and answer questions about Tingha history and tin mining. Have a Devonshire tea (probably the best scones I have eaten), really good value and must visit local museum.

Absolutely a step back in time, wonderfully preserved by dedicated volunteers, fantastic place to stop and spend 30 mins looking around, have a cup of tea or coffee and then look some more.

A very unique museum. Well worth the time to take a look into the past. You may even see things you had forgotten about. The people running the museum are volunteers and are very enthusiastic about the place. For just a few dollars take a good look around and maybe even indulge in a Devonshire tea.
