Tile importer prices are cheap but their staff are very unfriendly and particularly rude over the phone. When discussing delivery, each staff had a different answer... First time we only got half our items and had to go back a few days later. Second time we ordered more tiles we were told a delivery date (Thu), third call on Thu they said we don't specify delivery dates and that it may not come. Fourth call the staff said it would be there the next day (Fri). Good and cheap products but avoid the staff where you can lmao

The best timber yard around! We are always greeted by friendly staff that are more than willing to help us out. Prices are great and their showroom is fantastic too. Highly recommended
I can confidently say that I purchase 90% of my building material from Tile Importer. I have direct contact with all the relevant staff, from the guys in the office who organize my delivers to the friendly guys in the yard who are more than happy to help me load material onto my ute. Even during stage 4 restrictions, Tile Importer has been as helpful as ever.
Great place you can drive in,load up your timber & materials, also search for materials other places might not carry as they have a great range of products.

Very responsive to my emails for quotes. David or Nick respond within minutes. I receive my deliveries when promised. They have everything we need for our projects and relatively good prices. One stop shop. Highly recommended.
Bought a substantial amount of Merbau Timber for my large decking and not a single length was straight - every single one had a bow in it. An absolute nightmare to lay. Very sub-standard merbau. The worst part was that it was more expensive than Bunnings and my carpenter asked me never to buy from Tile Importers again!! Maybe they picked out all the worst timber because I asked for it to be delivered. Either way, never ever again!!
