My wife took a valuable clock which doubles as a piece of art into this shop to get a new mechanism. My clock is hand carved 1000 year old British Oak They added a damaged/bent bright red seconds hand (this wasn't needed and so I removed, however this has left a red mark on the brass coloured mechanism). They also glued the mechanism in the wrong position on the back for hanging with a big glob of glue (the original wasn't glued, it was positioned and tightened with the front of the clock mechanism. I have managed to brake the seal of the glue and reposition in the correct place, however, have been unable to remove the unsightly glue from the clock, for fear of damaging it. This has now devalued this piece of art that was acquired for a few thousand dollars from a famous UK artist. I am extremely angry at the blatant vandalism of my possession and wouldn't recommend this shop for the shoddy workmanship it peddles.
