I've been in both winter and autumn. Most recently in autumn and I did a couple of nature walks there - my lack of fitness not withstanding this was a very enjoyable experience. The scenery was beautiful and the village had some decent food on offer. Overall a great outing!

Interesting place in Summer there is a 25km walk with great views. But mostly uphill so be prepared, it can get windy and cold at the top. It can get very busy on weekends and Public Holidays as many people take on the challenge of this walk. There is a designated elevated steel grate to walk on this is to protect the flora and fauna. Please note , you have to take the chairlift up to the beginning of the walk.
It’s an awesome place. In the morning can go snowboarding or hiking, at night chill to go local bar where had the live music! Till midnight also can see the Amazing Milky Way! If you are lucky there are many wild wombat will shopping on the road when people turning for the night. Even can show the Milky Way on the photo but still can't tell how spectacular it is.
Nice little village set in the valley. As you would expect everything is overpriced as it's a ski town. Very picturesque when the sun is shining, weather can change in an instant but that's mountain life!
I was not sure that how this place be in the summer because I went last time in winter. I love to been there as less crowd in Dec season. Please don’t forget to enjoy chairlift, mountains bike riding and hiking in summer.
I like Thredbo. Didn't like paying to enter the park. Being from Victoria this was a surprise. As was the stupid requirement to book a camping place online which is impossible when there is no signal. The Green mountain bike trail has a blue bypass on it at the moment which was unpleasant. No uphill trail in the main resort is unpleasant too. Too lift company centric.
The place itself is amazing the people that run it and how it's run it's a joke, they took up 90 minutes of our time so we didn't have time to do the hike to Kosciusko could only get to the lookout as the chairlift stop at 4.15, way over priced, hikers pay the same price for chairlift as mountain bikers do and we used it once and they use it all day.
Great MTB spot during summer for all levels of ability. Chair lifts can get very busy during peak holidays but that's to be expected.
