Must recommend for good fishing experience. Fishes are not easy to catch comparatively nearby Buxton Trout Farm. You'll end up having nice experience. Their behaviour is also appreciable. Lastly, they don't have big BBQ area, so consider some time to BBQ if others are also in the queue.

Seriously, a great family fun day! We caught fresh rainbow trout and then had Bastian teach the kids how to clean and fillet the fish! An unforgettable life learning experience for them both. This was our 3rd time here and it just keeps getting better. Thank you guys!
Good but it wasn't open today? Don't know why? I was told it's not opening again.
The fishing was great with lots of action for our 2 young boys. The staff are so very friendly and knowledgeable with advice and tips that resulted in plenty of fish in the bucket. Amazing views and a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Bastian and Florentina thank you for the wonderful experience. We'll see you next time.
Would recommend stopping here for a platter and glass of wine. We lay on the green lawn beside the lake on a picnic blanket and it was a really sweet atmosphere
Really good fresh and smoked trout. Nice scenic drive. Quiet , not too many people.
We got there close to closing time and had no luck on the fish because a large group of tourists had cleaned them out that day! Anyway they are closing down and that's the end of what was a very nice place to fish.
New management has improved the place a lot. Picnic tables, bbqs, small contained fire, heater in the toilet! They also sell a smoked trout pate. Lovely people willing to chat and give some advice if you want it
