Wilde is my favourite cafe in Thirroul. Staff are so happy and friendly, the food is consistent and of good quality. My favourite is the Wilde bowl, it is full of an array of delicious things including pickles nuts and veges. My partner reckons the chicken burger is the best she's ever had!

A regular walk to Thirroul ends with a stop at a local cafe. Normally we have a very specific spot which caters to a canine member of our group however our usual haunt was closed so we headed to Wilde Cafe. We entered through the rear and found a nice spot shaded from the sun under an umbrella. Dogs are most welcome in the alfresco area. The decor and vibe is trendy northern suburbs avant guard but since so many cafes are doing this it’s maybe a little more cliche than cutting edge. Still a nice feel and we were greeted by friendly staff with a smile. After grabbing some menus ourselves we headed to the front counter to place our order. The routine is self order with meals/ drinks served to the table. The only coffee we had was a cold brew which was perfect for the hot day we visited. The flavour was great and the ice cubes ensured it was beautifully cold. It was disappointing not to be served in a tall glass; once you add the ice the serving size is pretty measly in a low ball. I indulged in a Watermelon Mint Fruit Crush. This was amazing and a fairly good serving coming to our table in a jar with a mint leaf garnish. The food came next, and pretty quickly, and included a tomato and cheese croissant and the Wilde Fritters. The croissant was great, cooked well and with tasty fresh ingredients. The fritters were beautifully presented and came with a great mix of fresh flavours. The cashew cream is amazing and works perfectly with the fritters and the beetroot relish. There is spinach leaves on the plate but I am always perplexed as to why cafes serve these fresh. It’s so boring, wilted or something to make them interesting would be great. This dish is vegan and vegetarian so I added a poached egg and bacon. These were 4 each which is pretty steep for extras. In summary the food is fresh and the coffee great. Price wise it’s on the expensive side but worth checking out if you are in Thirroul. Hi
This place is a jewel. Excellent coffee from a place that obviously has a passion for it. I'm not from here but it is such a treat to come across this fantastic cafe
Awesome cafe. The coffee is always on point (offering specialty coffee preparation methods too), the service is super friendly and nothing too much trouble. Food is delicious, fresh and generous portions and the vibe is cool!
Warm local coffee serving a variety of Single origin coffee and different types of coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful. For a local cafe this one sure does stand out. Few other cafes in the area to pick from, although this seemed to stand out. Black market roasters i believe is a franchise. Thanks for having us. Keep up the good work.
My dogs and I love coming here for our avocado on toast with a side of smoked salmon. Healthy and nutritious. They roast their own coffee. I love my coffee and it's up there in my list of good coffees. And do try their yummy cakes. Staff are friendly and remember the regular faces. In my case, it's my dogs they remember.
Awesome cafe with real food and real coffee. Everything is so fresh, toasties are the best and the coffee is top quality, not to mention the banana smoothie!
Very crowded but always good coffee pity they don't do a full Monty breakfast
