I bought a grand piano in July 2020, I paid over the phone, and it took me more than two months to get the invoice. I had to call them many times to ask for that invoice. The piano came in with a severe crack on the right frame. I had to call them multiple times to get that crack checked; once it was checked, I then have to wait for centuries. One staff even said that it was JUST a cosmetic issue. I stopped calling them because it was so frustrated to be ignored. This is unacceptable and discourteous. It is a shame that this happens in a reputable piano store.

I visited this place because someone I trust told me they were good people. Unfortunately they were not around so I’ll have to go back. And I’m looking forward to this. Their replacement was a absolute passionate musician and music lover (mélomane as we say in my home country). He was also very welcoming and gave me a very good feel for this place. On the piano selection they have a wide range. I think the coolest part (at least from my point of view) is their wide range of premium quality used pianos. I think if you are in the market for that it is a place worth visiting regularly as their stock vary.

I purchased my first grand piano (Yamaha C3) from the Theme and Variations showroom. Nyree and Ara, and their skilled staff were very helpful during the whole process. Recently, I was lucky enough to perform a recital in their beautiful showroom. They were extremely helpful and supportive leading up to and during the recital - I really appreciate it! Love this shop. I am like a kid in a candy store. Their pianos are always tuned to A440 which is concert pitch for those of you who don't know. They have intimate concerts every quarter of the year with emerging artists trying to find their talent in the world. And the founders Ara and Nyree are the most down to earth, hospitable people i have met. They welcome me with open arms each time and they tune my piano brilliantly each time. Come to the concerts, if you love classical music... Come and see the artists before they become famous concert pianists. The tickets are 15 for adults and free for children under 12. The next emerging artists is on 2nd June at 2pm. Seats are limited so book early. Well done guys.
