It was easy to find my way around and the staff were really nice and helpful. The art was interesting although slightly boring in some parts but maybe that’s just me not getting it. I liked the aboriginal art and the celebration of the culture.

Loved the place. Despite some of the art is hard to understand without reading what was it about, pretty nice museum - 3 floors and 4th cafe with panoramic view to Opera

Very beautiful museum. The art Inside is incredible. You can spend the whole day in this place. At the roof there is an amazing view and a coffee...

The MCA is a building smack bang in the middle of The Rocks / Circular Quay - the building is beautiful and the location stunning with plenty of places for a meal or drinks in the area. The museum isn’t very large so can be explored in a couple of hours or less. I saw the Lindy Lee: Moon in a Dew Drop exhibition and it is well worth the visit as it has some really cool works. Entry is free but donations are appreciated. Entrance is via George Street only, exhibit on harbour side. Parking available at the Overseas Passenger terminal next door or easy transport links via ferry, train, light rail and buses as Circular Quay is a main transport hub.

Came here for a breakfast function and stayed to check out some art. Always something interesting to see here, like this world map or the re-imagined US flag or the Gija story of the moon. The shop is great too - unusual gifts to be found.

The Museum of Contemporary Art is a great place to visit. It is free to go in and it is just next to Circular Quay station. There is a cafe at the top on Level 4 which has great views of the harbour.

This gallery is one of my favourites. It is intimate enough so a visit doesn't seem overwhelming and it usually has an awesome exhibition to see. I went to the Lindy Lee Moon in a Dew Drop exhibition and loved it! The space is great and the location fabulous! Right next to the Rocks.

This is an amazing place to spend a rainy day or even just to get a good dose of art into your day. They have great helpful staff and change exhibitions every few months. The moon in a dewdrop exhibition was particularly interesting - the use of bronze, ink and printing was very innovative and I appreciated the video showcasing Lindy's artmaking process.
