You might not believe it, but you already know whether or not you like this place. Close your eyes. Think about pancakes. How do you feel? Happy or sad? Now imagine pancakes, as many as you could possibly eat, all in one giant parlour. There is a person walking towards you, they have pledged fealty to the Pancake creator. They ask for your order. They bring you a pancake. It looks like a pancake. It tastes like a pancake. You feel exactly about pancakes as you did before you entered the parlour. Now ask yourself - are you happy? Are you home? If the answer is yes, then maybe this is the restaurant for you.

It’s been the same here since I was a kid! I do love the pancakes and the bacon and eggs is not half bad, but unremarkable. Kids seem to enjoy it as a treat, but it’s quite expensive compared to a trendy cafe which is better value. But we enjoy it once in awhile.

Great food with delicious flavours. Brilliant and polite service, especially our waitress. And quick too, with next to no wait time, either to take our order and the delivery of our meals. Pleasant atmosphere. An all round lovely night at the Pancake Parlour.

Service is always friendly at this particular pancake parlour. Though the food is always oil slicked and undercooked. It’s really not worth the price. I’ve given up on this particular pancake parlour and just will not go here anymore after being disappointed with my food the last three times of dining here. I still really enjoy going to other pancake parlours but this one is just not very nice at all.

For my grandson's 11th birthday, we had an outing with 5 family members. First we bought movie tickets at Hoyts, and allowed an hour for lunch at the Pancake Parlour. It took 50 minutes to receive our order, which had members of the family stressed. The grandson only wanted some fries, and what he got was undercooked wedges which were called country fries. "What country does fries like that", he asked, and he didn't touch them. Two of us had pancake meals, and I ordered two large ramekins of real maple syrup (6 each) which didn't arrive. I asked one waitress about it, and she ignored us. So I got up and stopped another waitress and asked for our real maple syrup. She was annoyed and finally brought only one ramekin. We had to leave before finishing our meal, and I made sure we received a discount for our poor experience.

The food is always nice, you cannot really destroy pancakes but the service and atmosphere were really lacking.
