Lorna is a very talented artist that enthusiastically shares her knowledge and techniques with students, whilst encouraging them to find their own style. I have done many workshops at The Levee Art Gallery & Studios and am currently enjoying my second ‘Find Your Style’ program. I would thoroughly recommend Lorna to anyone that has an interest in learning, improving or gaining new art skills. The Levee Art Gallery & Studios is a beautiful, creative space and most would find Lorna to be interesting, talented, warm, inviting and knowledgeable. I’m looking forward to continuing my art journey with Lorna at The Levee Art Gallery & Studios

I encourage you to explore your creativity. Lorna has been amazing influence and mentor/teacher on my new art journey. After not doing art for 32 years I joined her course Finding your Own Style last year and have been on an incredible journey since. I was challenged to paint which was some thing I had not done before as I would do charcoal and oil pastels at school. I absolutely love painting. I had my first exhibition after completing the course and to my surprise my work sold. I am now working on a new body of works with the support and teaching from Lorna. The gallery and studio is wonderful and even through COVID-19 Lorna has offered support and remote learning. I recommend Levee Art Gallery and Studios to you all whether you want to purchase art, learn or to exhibition your work. Thankyou Lorna you are an inspiration.

I started my first class with Lorna yesterday in a series of 6! It was amazing. Beautiful gallery, studio space and people, I couldn’t ask for more but I got it....Lorna was very welcoming and engaging, encouraging and inspiring us with her knowledge and passion. What a great space and use of this lovely building. Lorna has done an amazing job in creating the studio & gallery which has attracted a number of now resident artists, so not just her own work. The studio offers a range of creative workshops where aspiring and budding artists can come and learn new skills and have some fun. The gallery stocks a huge range of the new chalk paint range, brushes and you can even learn how to turn that old tired piece of furniture into something funky!
