This Kung Fu school is excellent! I had no previous experience with martial arts before I arrived. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly and the teacher is knowledgeable and easy to approach. The classes cater to people of all skill levels, and is a great opportunity to improve your fitness, flexibility and mental strength. I would highly recommend this school to those that are new to martial arts.

I highly recommend the school to anyone looking to meet some new people, get fit, and learn an excellent martial arts. When I moved to Aus it took a while to find a new school, but the Nam Pai Chuan school just really fitted with me. Since doing Kung Fu, I am definitely the fittest I have ever been. I never really feel that exercising is a drag, because kung fu is always exciting and energising. Not only are you getting fit, but you are also learning awesome skills that may one day save your life (although I hope I never have to use them).
've been training under Gow Lian (Andrew) now for just under 3 months and since ive started I've gone to every class bar 3. I can honestly say this has been one of the best decisions I've made since finishing high school in 2011. The classes improve your level of physical fitness, flexibility, mental strength, balance as well as coordination. The class itself has a relaxed and comfortable air to it. Don't get me wrong, it is a grueling workout but a friendly environment none the less. I would encourage anyone to come along and try a class; there is a vast range of size, age, fitness and skill, however, the instruction compensates for the diversity allowing for the appropriate personal progress. I remember nearly turning away at the start of the year before I even walked in the door. Even three months down the track the person I am now wouldn't walk away without atleast giving such an oppotunity a chance as I know first hand the potential to be gained from having a little courage and taking the first step. Its always the hardest.
Hi, my name is Jeavon and I started NPC Kung Fu when I was 41 years old. Having done a little bit of martial arts as a teenager I had for a long time wanted to get back into it. After living a sedentary lifestyle for the most part of two decades I knew things were going in the wrong direction for me physically and something needed to be done to improve my health and fitness. Just over four years ago a work colleague invited me to come along to the Kung Fu class where he attended and after his third invitation I finally felt the courage to accept his offer, turn up to class, and I have never looked back. I remember that when I first started Kung Fu there were some exercises that I struggled with but over the weeks and months of attending classes each muscle group gradually became increasingly conditioned as did my cardio fitness. I have definitely noticed my fitness improving as the months go by. However, my reasons for continuing Kung Fu now extend beyond fitness to include other benefits such as the friendships that I have formed. In 2014 I was extremely lucky to travel to New Zealand to attend some classes under the instruction of Master Lai. This was a fantastic experience for me that I will never forget. One thing I would like to let the reader know about is how when you walk into the kwoon all of your woes seem to be left behind. Even if I am having a bad day at work I know I can look forward to Kung Fu because I know that any negativity that I had in my day will be completely left behind for the duration of the class. And by the time class has concluded I know that my mental state has been completely transformed. Our instructor, Gow Lian Schwass is extremely patient and very giving. I put myself completely in his hands and he guides me and my fellow students on our paths to personal development. I owe a big thanks to the NPC system for helping me to correct my path to fitness of body and mind.
