Girraween, Australia

A very pleasant walk from the Girraween visitor Centre and camping grounds. Map available at the visitor centre, though the Junction Trail is easy to follow along Bald Rock Creek. Flat and relatively easy a nice way to start a Girraween day.

Great walk and if you want to have fantastic day out. There are small pools of water that allows to dip and cool down. The tgecrock formation us amazing
As I am a 13 year old, I love slides (especially tarp slides with my mates) but The junction, Girraween top all of my experiences. So I was following the hiking trail to the junction and I met the point where Bald Rock Creek and Ramsay Creek met. I was amazed by the temperature at the time but more amazed at the natural slide next to me. So being a 13 year old boy I gave it a go. The slide was a slope of rock where a few separate streams had flown cuasing erosion, and a couple of awesome smooth paths AKA slides.
Worth the visit, although when we were there, there was no water. A very different experience
A very good walk as long as the creek is not flowing too much. It takes a little more effort than some of the other short walks at Girraween. Again, Spring is the best time for wild flowers.
