Expensive for what it is. Got the “seasoned” grilled flake and chips. Flake was quite dry compared to other grilled fish I’ve had and no seasoning I could see. I liked my chips with extra chicken salt- they decided to put it on the side and not add it themselves. (But I had to pay extra unlike most restaurants, even though this one was already quite expensive....). This was ok as they gave me a reasonable amount. Would’ve been way better if the fish was cooked better. Wish it wasn’t so dry. :( a good piece of fish and nice chips that could’ve been done better. Edit: Thanks to the owners for telling me what to eat....if you can’t grill a piece of fish properly don’t have it on the menu as an option to be grilled. You’re a seafood restaurant and should be able to cook the food you have on offer in the manner you have chosen to offer it. If you can’t cook it well don’t tell a customer to eat something else.

We ordered takeaway over the phone from here on a Saturday night. There was a bit of a wait for the food even after arriving after the 15 minutes mentioned on the phone. Once we got the food it was very fresh and hot. We enjoyed the snapper, chips, potato scallops and calamari (very fresh). However, I would recommend giving the burgers a miss, they were as expected for a burger from a seafood shop. The pineapple fritters could be a slightly thicker cut of pineapple as the sweet flavour was lost in the batter due to the thin slice. Would eat here again but would change up the order a bit.

Great display. Great staff. Markets & Food should be a happy place. Still shopping here after 30 yrs . Don't buy the strawberries out of season. Too cool car park behaviour not reqd..A little patience goes a long way

Great value, the scallops and prawns were divine! Calamari wasn't the best. Fish was good. Keen to try more things. Definitely recommend!

Food was warm to cold when picked it up, it was busy so I assume they just gave themselves extra time, but was told 25 minute wait and went back in after 20mins and the food was already ready, got in the car and drove away and my partner had a chip and sadly it was cold. Pretty disappointing nothing was crispy upon eating, fish was warm and potato cakes were cold. The chips and potato cake almost tasted as if they had been cooked and then recooked because it was mushy. Just a really disappointing experience given the reviews all seemed so great. As per other reviews; the serving sizes are quite generous and the seasoning on the chips was nice.

The best fish & chips I've had in a long time! I'm not from Brissy so I'm glad I stumbled upon this business for dinner. Food was prepared neatly and presented well and tasted delicious. You can tell they take pride in their work. The batter wasn't too thick and was cooked to perfection. Elsewhere you would get thin chewy calamari, but these were beautiful and thick. Chicken Burger tasted amazing!

Really good food, practising covid safe regs, wait time is not too bad.

Fantastic. Fresh, tasty. Clean. A bit pricey but we consider it was worth it. Will definitely return.
