I spent 12 months at the ANZAC Research Institute as a medical student as part of my doctoral thesis research. It was an incredible time, with a very experienced team in a great surrounding. I experienced extremely knowledgable and genuinely friendly as well as helpful colleagues. The facility is modern and the lab is well equipped, according to modern standards. The affiliation to Concord hospital and The University of Sydney makes it a great research environment with lots of possibilities to cooperate and learn from each other. Over all I had a great stay, managed to finish my thesis and would always love to come back.

I spent one year at the Adrenal Steroid lab of the ANZAC Research Institute as part of my German medical PhD program (Dr. med.). Within this year, I was able to develop quickly from a research beginner to planning and conducting my own experiments, thanks to the close supervision and guidance from experienced lab colleagues. Apart from that, the community at the ARI is very welcoming and friendly. Thanks for this great experience!

I had a post-doc position at the Anzac Research Institute and was part of the bone biology group for over two years. It was a fantastic time and supervisors as well as all other staff were very friendly and always helpful. Moreover, the whole ARI is like a big family and teamwork with other groups was pleasant and straightforward at all times!

I spent 2 months in the Bone Biology group as a stay abroad during my PhD. It was a very fruitful stay. The group is very welcoming and has great expertise within histology and in vivo work. I can highly recommend the lab!

A great place to do research. I joined Burns Injury Group in 2010 after two years working in industry and university. My 8 years time here in the ANZAC research institute was fantastic as I had constant support from senior scientists (Peter, Zhe, David, Hong and Mark) in all aspects. I love to be one of the big ANZAC family and highly recommend working within ANZAC research Institute.

I came to work with Hong and Markus in 2012 as an ARUK Junior travelling Fellow. I requested to join the lab based on their fantastic reputation and research output. My time in the ANZAC research institute was amazing and their lab could not have been more welcoming and inclusive. I had constant support throughout, in addition to all the help I recieved with moving to a new country with my wife and newborn son. The research was cutting edge and resulted in two 1st author papers within the first year. These were integral to me securing my current Career Development Fellowship. I highly recommend working within the bone research group and ANZAC research Institute, both as a fantastic experience and for excellent career develoment.
