Unprofessional personal. The nurse I saw was abusive. Unethical and unprofessional behaviour. Stay away from these people, I can believe the government is not auditing and still funding them. Bureaucracy at its best. I’m definitely taking this to the ombudsman and probably to a lawyer.

In the last couple of months I have been admitted twice at the Alfred Hospital, both times I have been bought in by ambulance. I have to say the Ambulance, Doctors, specialist and especially nurses have been wonderful. In fact the whole Cardiology department have been super fabulous in maintaining care for me from the beginning to the very end of my stay

Trying to seek medical attention during WWII would have been easier than at this place

Shocking lack of care and attention to distressed patient. Rude, yelling, not listening, no help. And they're supposed to be a leader in trauma??

I am so pleased with the rapud professional help I recieved from entering the hospital by nurses - especially Nobi the Indian nurse. The Dr in ED who examined me and linked me to ongoing treatment. They understood my condition and were most appropriate in their response. I am proud of tjis hospital system. Never loose it. Ruth

I thought the Alfred was brilliant. They did a thorough checking of my condition and as tests came through they acted on the problem. Immediately. The staff were professional and caring The only reason they didn’t get 5 stars is that as the Alfred was full, they sent me to their Sandy hospital which hasn’t worked out well. My 85 year old husband has to drive half an hour whereas we live in South Yarra & could use the tram. I feel this was a very poor decision. Jennifer Opie
