Great service and yummy fish & chips. Ordered through the App, super easy to use with regular progress updates. The staff are amazing, very friendly and work quickly to get orders filled. Have also used the local delivery option, which arrived super quick! Our new favourite takeaway in the Maitland/Thornton area.

CAUTION - THIS FOOD IS NOT MERCHANTABLE QUALITY. Burnt chewey greasy potato scollops with black flecks caused by dirty oil. Burnt greasy battered sav with broken hard batter, squashy sav used of poor cheap quality, not tasty. SHOULD BE NO STARS

Best takeaway in the area. You can safely ignore any and all of the negative reviews as my family of 6 have been going here for many years and the current owners (Jess & hubby - sorry!) are friendly and professional at all times, the shop is clean, the food is fresh and portion sizes are good. Yes the chips are all different sizes, some are small and crunchy, this is because they are NOT OUT OF A BAG OF MASS PRODUCED RUBBISH, they are fresh and different and delicious - especially the little crunchy bits! Scallops are crispy outside and yummy and potatoey inside, works burgers are tasty and kids meals are a bargain.
My new favourite, the food quantity and quality is absolutely amazing for the price, that's what makes it stand out from the rest. The staff are lovely and genuinely care about their customers and the quality of the food they serve, it's much appreciated and I will continue supporting such a great local business such as Tenambit Takeaway. I recommend it. A!
