I went into South Melbourne Telstra shop on the weekend to change over my phone, but forgot my I.D. I asked if I could come in after work. I finished work and got to the shop at 5.24 and was told they couldn't do it because it would take 15 mins.

Disappointing. Left a company and had to get the number transferred to my name. Went to Melb Central store the previous day and said I wanted to do prepaid and they said okay and that I can go to any store but I had to have an active SIM card first so I had to do it the next day after 24 hrs activation. Went into south Melbourne store and the girl there said they can’t transfer to prepaid. So I wasted my time going there and waiting there. Then took me 45 min by tram and walking to get to Melb central and they did it in 5min. I’m sure capabilities to do things should be the same with Telstra. But because this girl wouldn’t do it, I’ve transferred to Optus and have done so with the rest of my family. Service needs to be consistent for an ASX20 company.

This Telstra Shop is outstanding in terms of service - my advice never ever go to the Southland store - just incredible to think it's the same company Southland 1/2 a star South Melbourne 10/10

I had an excellent customer experience at this store with Jack. The team at the store were very helpful and supportive. I was paired up with Jack and he offered a high level of customer understanding and service. I came from Optus, where previously had a terrible experience. At Telstra South Melbourne I was able to set up all business products in one go. Jack really listened and went the extra mile. Telstra gained a great sized account with a suite of products, I gained great value, support and high quality products that don't breakdown. Jack has followed up and provided ongoing Telstra business customer support. Thank you Telstra South Melbourne.

Disappointing experience. Been away from Telstra for 10 years, this was my first time back. I can see now i dropped them Given the wrong info, called for help can't help you over the phone, ring Telstra support, download the app' blah blah blah The app DOESN'T WORK that is why I'm ringing
