Six months ago I purchased a 6.66 KW system through Technaus solar. Lovely young guy called James came to my house and presented me with a range of options. After trusting his expertise I decided to invest in a 21 Astro energy 315W and a Growatt Inverter. Since that investment I have recieved three power bills all with Synergy credits between 10 - 40. I am convinced that investing in premium solar is the best solution long term and would recommend Technaus Solar and James Christie to anybody.

Chris, the solor guy, came out to our house in Clarkson, did a quick survey and then showed us how much we could save enuff off our bills to pay the system off. Was really a no brainer!!! I had already done my research so i knew Technaus wasnt the cheapest company around and Chris was very straightforward about this and went into detail why they were more than the dodgy el cheapo companies out there. Quality products and service and long guarantees from a proper engineering company that has been around for 15 years. I like to sleep at night so i said lets do it! Cant wait to get it done now and get these poxy electric bills down.
Referred to us via Aus Solar Connect. First phone conversation was very odd with quite invasive questions but as they insisted on a home inspection agreed for them to come out and do a quote. On the agreed day there's another phone call from an extremely agressive and ill mannered woman who informs me that they don't quote, they make an offer, you either sign-up on the spot or they take their toys and go home. When I informed the woman that I intended to get multiple quotes and theirs would be just one of them she informed me that "We don't have to help you" so my response was "Well don't then" Very bad behaviour and I cannot imagine how they treat people who actually choose to do business with such an organisation. The response below seems to be typical of this company. Rather than address the behaviour of their staff they blame potential customers.
Didn't even get 15 mins into a quote because apparently they don't do quotes when people are approaching more than one company. The sales rep was extremely aggressive and rude. He expected us to just believe him and do what he thought was right for us. We were going to be making a decision there and then something my husband and I do not do as we like to research equipment and make the right choice for us. This was the worst experience we have every had and this type of behavior is bordering on bullying. Customers beware we spoke with two other companies so there are great ones out there. Don't choose this one.

From the first communication with Brett Johnstone the salesman through to the final installation of our panels nothing but great service and follow up. Andy Forster the installation co-ordinator does an awesome job answers all questions and from start to finish was quick installation even with slight delay from Western Power. Brett is a salesman who doesn’t believe in pushy, explains everything easily and ensures you are getting the best system.. installers turned up on time and did a expedient install. Left everything tidy and explained the investor itself Highly recommend Technaus Solar for good honest service quick install and friendly staff. Great value for money as well
