Today me and my friend took the Redline bus from Devonport to Launceston, and it was the worst experience since arriving in Tasmania. Larry the busdriver was one of the rudest people I have come across in a long time. When my friend ask him if this was the 705 bus (since it didn’t clarify that on the bus) he yelled at her in a very degrading tone saying yes and asking her if she can’t read. Two people came up to my friend afterwards asking if she was okay, cause they had witnessed the exchange. We also overheard him talk to several other people in a non friendly way. No customer service what so ever and there is really no need to be so rude to your passengers just because they ask questions. Will not use redline again and will not be recommending it to anyone.

Great place to catch coach from launceston to North west coast or go south to Hobart. Has public toilets. Concessions for students elderly

I have taken 6 coaches, all the drivers were friendly and respectful. the lady at the launceston transit centre was extremely rude and disrespectful, possibly frustrated to be working over the holiday season, lashed out at a couple of other passengers too. (and one more as i write this) I will never take the redline service again. update; read a couple of other reviews talking about the same lady. update 2; now she is yelling at an elderly couple

Buses are old. (Read: bumpy ride due to tired shock absorbers). Nowhere to charge devices. No tray table. No footrest. (The last three are industry standards). Buses will get you to your destination, just remember not to rely on your electronic devise for entertainment because there's no charging it if you do.
