I have just visited Taro Taro, I had not been here previously but I thought I'd give it a go. The young lady who served me seemed extremely uninterested in working. I was unsure what meal to have so I asked what she would recommend. This comment got no reply. I ended up deciding on the fried chicken on rice. While dining I did enjoy the meal, was great value also at 8. I did find it very salty, so I decided to ask the young lady if she would have any Mayo, she gave me a foul look and laughed while saying no, then she went back to texting on her phone. Luckily the other lady cutted in to save the day to correct the misinformation from her co worker and stated that they did have Mayo. She then went out and grabbed me some. I do not understand why this young lady works in a location that she clearly dislikes, she has options to leave to look for other jobs. I also have an option to not visit Taro Taro again due to this poor service

Underrated place! The braised pork rice is super tasty and great value, I would order it again anytime. The XXL fried chicken chop is pretty good, nice and crispy outside and tender inside, well spiced. The taro milk tea with taro pieces - ordered with 50% sugar - tasted fresh and was probably the best taro drink I've ever had. The only disappointment was the chicken curry, but I'll excuse that as curry is not really a Taiwanese dish. On another occasion I had a coffee float, 50% sugar, very pleasant. I think most customers just order bubble tea and dessert? They are missing out. That braised pork rice and the fried chicken are definitely worth coming in for.
the drink is not bad but more then half is just big ice cubes
The hot taro soup was lukewarm and it looked a bit disgusting.... And the fried chicken was yuck too we could taste the stale oil. So one star.
Good food but could have better chairs
Always like the desserts here, Taiwanese style with cold tofu and taro balls. Customised order also available. Tried the hot food for the first time recently, a noodle dish, and it didn't disappoint!
Always stop by after dinner to have their Soy Bean Pudding. Absolutely stunning!!
Do not recommend this place at all. I had a teriyaki chicken, the teriyaki was very salty. The laksa was also too salty and thick and not much of the lovely heat that it's expected of a nice Laksa.
