This is an amazing hidden gem in the beautiful little historical town of taralga. There is a beautiful selection of rescued wildlife and gorgeous animals. John is a very friendly and interesting guy and makes visiting this place a very enjoyable experience for adults and kids alike. We loved the way he seemed to want the kids to go away with really happy memories. We will definitely be visiting again next time we are in the area

Great place to visit, lots of friendly Aussie animals and birds. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. My granddaughter's enjoyed the day, learning to feed animals safely. Would recommend as a day out for kids ( and grown ups too)

Well worth a visit! Kids loved the opportunity to cuddle some bunnies and pat a baby wombat, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great country food was a bonus!

We highly recommend a visit to this haven to Australia's native wildlife, you can clearly see that this place is completely different to the animals kept at regular Zoo's. At Taralga's the animals just seem happier, you can visibly see and get a sense that their genuinely happy to be there. We will return again. Thank you John and staff for making our day memorable.

A must visit. Yes this zoo is relatively small comparing to zoos in Sydney and there is no lions and elephants. However, what make this zoo different is that the animals here will come to you! This is like a giant petting zoo and you are welcome to feed the animals with the food provided by the zoo for free. Don't miss the Wombat there. The owner John is very friendly and knowledgeable and his love to the animals is second to none. There is a Cafe at the entrance of the zoo. Highly recommended.

What a cracker of a place. Relaxed atmosphere, the animals are all lovely and attentive, you can tell that there are well looked after. My son and daughter said that it's better then any other small wild live park that we have been to. Absolutely would recommend.

Absolutely amazing. Tracy was fantastic to chat to, this Wildlife Park is incredible to walk around and very unique. I’ve never had a wombat follow me like a dog until coming here Highly recommended!
