Go wild here. Some great trails to explore. Lots of areas seriously burnt by Black Saturday fires and some areas heavily logged. Shame as it is habitat for threatened species like Sooty Owls, Powerful Owls, Leadbeater Possums and large Gliders species. Some great views to be had from the high points like Spion Kopje. Some other peaceful scenic points to be discovered along Tarago River. No amenities and very limited mobile reception so take an offline map. Not recommended for 2WD vehicles.
