It's so rare to find an authentic Japanese restaurant in the St George area which makes this place a real gem. Run by a Japanese couple, Taiki offers a range of dishes including sushi, don (rice bowls) and udon. I love the home cooking style as it reminds me of Japan. The service has all the hallmarks of Japanese hospitality: friendly and efficient. Prices are a little bit high and portions are a tad small but I was happy to overlook that because of the high quality food. I highly recommend a visit for lunch or dinner.

Incredible little Japanese restaurant with incredible tempura as well as fresh and generous servings of sashimi. Run by a small family owned business this is a must try for the high quality food, especially the tempura and sashimi. Comfortably the best Japanese restaurant in the St. George area and comparable to somewhere like Wayama down south.
Deliciously fresh sashimi, authentic japanese foods. Satiate our appetite, especially when we miss foods in Japan. it is a small place, so be sure to book in advance.
Hidden gem! Authentic Japanese Flavour Their assorted deep fried is very crunch and nice - veggies; pumpkin, sweet potato, broccoli etc. i personally think that they are really good at deep fries! I had some sashimis and rolls. They are so yummy! Good quality but small portion for me lol (I am a big eater ) I got some take-away for Father’s day and my parents in laws loved all the food. Very good quality as per in laws! I definitely go back there to dine in! It is worthy to try all the different food. Maybe i will try some main dish or bento next time
Authentic Japanese food in NSW suburb. Highly recommended. Vouched for by my Japanese co-diners as well. Chef is an experienced and gifted Japanese elderly gentleman. If you see him in the kitchen cooking when you walk in, then you can rest assured it's going to be a nice meal.
Yummy food and reasonable price , traditional Japanese food , service slow but food very tasty .
