I got the details of this financial broker through google search and he seemed knowledgable and friendly and decided to use his service. However, I did not have a good result despite the initial assurance that my application would be successful. The mortgage broker, Ivan, wasted 5 days of my cooling off period, and despite the extension of another 5 days he only got my application rejected. I was lucky that I had another broker, using the same information that I provided Ivan, got me a successful loan within 48 hours so I was able to go unconditional on my contract. I understand that I had an unusual case, having my own business, but as time passed I could sense that his ability to analyse profit and loss and other financial details were not up to scratch and was giving me wrong advice which would have been detrimental to my tax position at the end of the year. If you are a business owner I do not recommend that you use his services.
