Went there at the end of 2020. Gotta say, I have never experienced better service anywhere. I feel terrible for not remembering her name, but there was a girl with red hair there who was absolutely amazing and was meticulous without being intrusive. Also gave great recommendations that were very much enjoyed. Food wise I thought it was good without being amazing, but the service really made the meal. And throughout the meal the chef near us opened up a bit, after a small error in the order, which made the experience more fun. We were given the wrong order initially but they ended up giving us both items with one complimentary. We offered to pay as the service as great but they refused. Price wise I thought it was fair given the location. Would definitely return for the experience as a whole.

Horrible service, mediocre food, pretentious waitresses that don't know what they're serving, much better food and service at this price point elsewhere. Stay away.

This restaurant was amazing! The food was incredible and not ridiculously overpriced. The atmosphere is fun and very elegant. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting to check out this restaurant.

Pictured is an omakase experience at Sushi E in January 2021. The menu is seasonal and changes depending on available produce. Unfortunately we were told by the chef that December - May is not an optimal fish season, so we weren't able to enjoy the best and most flavourful options that Sushi E omakase has to offer, which was slightly disappointing. The omakase is served at a sushi bar located within a larger bar (Hemmesphere) and next to/opposite other customers who are not having the omakase menu, which means the music can be loud and the atmosphere is not as intimate as typival omakase experiences. However, it was clear the chef was passionate about his food and had a great depth of knowledge, and also very happy to engage and share with us. Good service and price was relatively reasonable.

How good should this be at these prices? Should a terrific salmon salad and toothfish, raise the score in compensation for flavourless tea, underdrained lettuce, ruining a soggy tempura balmain bug? Should thin slices of mackerel on old, under flavoured sushi rice be overwritten by excellent eel sushi? The fit out is tiring, the enthusiasm of the team uneven, as is the cooking and fish preparation and service temperature. These things are totally fine at Cafe level. But this is a Justin gig, and the prices are often supported by a higher standard...not here, not tonight.

Seriously, this place never disappoints. Have been coming here for a long time and the food and service has always been top notch.

Great meal. Food was great, service excellent. Maybe not the cosiest of places, more a Sushi Bar feel than a Restaurant but that's what they're going for. Good job.

Awesome sushi in our town. Service is quite good too. Sometimes the wait for a table can be a little bit frustrating but definitely worth it. The food comes in large serves each plate has about 8 small rolls and the tempura is crispy perfection.
