Wow I was genuinely impressed.. This is one of the most visit places of Sydney. It is located near Opera House and stretches to the Mrs Macquarie Point. Beautiful and peaceful place. Just wander around to explore and relax. With so many stunning plants, trees, ponds, secret spots, herb gardens it is a perfect spot to relax or walk around. Some nice cafe and restaurants inside or around the gardens. Pleasant atmosphere throughout the year. Walkable distance to opera house, art gallery and cathedral. Perfect place for short picnic. Amazing view of city, harbour bridge and opera house. Very easily accessible and very well connected. Plenty of spots to sit on a bench under a tree and relax, get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Must visit place! So beautiful!!

Beautiful botanic garden in the city. It is spacious, peaceful, clean and well maintained gardens and lawns. Amazing big trees, lovely flowers, so much green all around. A tranquil and serene place to be. The walk was fantastic with many different paths and scenes. A few benches laid among the greenery makes it so peaceful to sit and watch the day go by. Great day out with the family, our kid enjoyed it too. So much to explore, will definitely be coming back. Perfect day out.

One of the best spots in Sydney to relax and see such beauty, surrounded by the harbour- you can always find a peaceful and quiet spot. I suggest booking a day park at Wilson parking at the opera house and walking n with your picnic there are also lots of cafes and events are always happening too. We especially love the pond down in the oriental garden (with koi and eels) Mrs Macquaries chair the graceful ibis all the different banana specimens! (Trust me it’s fascinating)

Royal botanical garden (park) is one of the best places to picnic, take an evening stroll or go for evening run along the harbour. There are great views of the harbour from the garden. If you walk to Mrs. Macquarie’s chair, there are amazing views of the city’s skyline, opera house and harbour bridge. You can also take your camera and capture beautiful sunset shots from Mrs. Macquarie’s chair. The garden has a great variety of different plants, tall beautiful trees, beautiful flowers and green all around. It’s great place to relax, unwind and read a book in a peaceful environment.

Lovely botanical garden. It has a lot of native Australian plants and definitely well maintained. It is situated at a very conviennent location next to the circular quay, the art gallery of new south whales near the ferry and train station. It is big and lots of lovely locations to have a run, walk, a workout and picnic. They also have a nice cafe/restaurant inside the garden. Definitely recommend a visit.
