When I applied for a job via Paxus, Gunjan Navare called me back immediately one night to assure my application would be processed. She also gave me further instructions on the application process. Later that night, I had another number representing Paxus cold call me after viewing my Seek profile, having not spoken with Gunjan and realising that I had actually already applied for a job they were headhunting for. No voicemail message was left, however they proceeded to send me a series of text messages which was unprofessional. Since then, I have sent a follow up email requesting the status of my application and there has been no response up to a week later. I have since heard from another recruitmeny agency that I have been successful for the same position. Thankfully, I will earn more via another recruitment agency for the same work, as Paxus charge a service charge of 2.5 perfect should you not be a sole trading company with your own ABN.
