Terrible experience. A few things that make this a 1-star review. 1) Ordered online for Easter Saturday delivery and was not advised until after I’d made the order (and my credit card charged) that the company wouldn’t deliver as it was a public holiday. 2) the company promised extended inflation for earlier delivery but the balloons started to deflate the day after delivery. Required for 2 days after. 3) I forgot to specify the balloon number I required (it should just be built into the site) in the online order so the company just assumed the number was as per the website photo and didn’t even bother to check with me prior to delivery so the incorrect balloon was delivered. 4) I called the company following delivery of the wrong balloon to discuss and was told that they would call me back but I wasn’t called back. I know it’s only balloons and not life/death but the customer service here is shocking. Will not use again.

The Team at Sydney Party Shop have been doing our balloons and our family’s for over 5 years and we have been shopping in store for years. They have a huge range of party food and cakes and not only is the food and cakes easy and amazing tasting, they are very well priced when you carter for a party. Balloons are always so impressive and there is no party without Balloons and Sydney Party Shop does them best.
Bought a product online and decided to pick it up rather than pay the postage. When I arrived I was told they had sold out and I could choose from the range they had on shelf. Not sure why they took my money for a product that they don't have. Ended up with something that didn't quite suit and cost extra. No apologies either.
Appreciation post!!! Thank you guys for helping me setup my balloons for my baby shower! Can’t thank you enough, so I made this post myself. WILL DEFINITELY ORDER AGAIN!!! ️
Don’t trust this place, picked up the balloons at 12pm and was promised they will last until the next day. This was going to be a surprise for my son when he wakes up. One of the balloons have gone completely flat and the others are half flat by 9:30pm the same night.
DO NOT ORDER ONLINE from this shop. I placed an order nearly 3 weeks ago which included the date I needed the products by.At the time of ordering there was no indication that this was a problem and nothing came up as out of stock. After 2 weeks I had not received any email confirming my order- I had paid by Pay pal and money was received at Sydney Party shop on the day of my order. I left a message 3 times and no one returned my calls. Eventually I managed to speak to a lady who told me that the items I had ordered were out of stock. She promised to return my call the next day (which never happened) I have tried to ring them again How can they take over 130 for items they don't even have? My party is a week away and now its too late to try and order from another site. I also don't know how to get my money back. I am so upset that my party will have no decorations. It's shameful. Following this review, I was actually contacted and supplies were shipped, except for one of the major items that I ordered. I am thankful that an endeavor was made to rectify my situation. The excuse of my phone number is not valid- I am a health worker and can not always answer my phone. Emails, or someone answering the phone at Sydney Party Shop would have been more helpful. Better communication needs to happen from the time of order- including notification of out of stock items. I am glad that an effort was made to resolve my situation.
Bought Balloons for my brother's Birthday. They were fantastic. I highly recommend.
Just want to thank the staff for helping me with my granny’s 70th birthday! She loved the balloon bouquet and was surprised that a 70 years old can have balloons on their birthday! You guys rock!
