It was my first time to any Japanese restaurant. I love spicy food and was scared of trying some cuisine that is without spices. But it was really a good experience. I tried miso eggplant curry. It was so yum but very oily. I guess whenever there is eggplant, most of the places use too much oil. But overall, it was a good meal. If someone does not like oil, I would not recommend this dish.

Service is quick and pleasant. Food is good. Eaten here a few times. Will come back. Ramen is delicious. I had smoked duck today - highly recommended. Authentic Japanese food.

Absolutely delicious meal of pickled vegetables, then beef fried rice then chicken curry. Loved it. It leaves you in your happy place. Can not wait to come back.

Excellent food - chicken karaage was crispy and tasty; ramen was warming and full of flavour and rice was cooked to perfection. Loved that there were plenty of vegetarian options for those of us who are vegetarian. Customer service was exceptional too. Only downfall is that a small serving of chilli oil cost 1.50.

Staff were friendly, food was great! Deco was funky and eclectic just like a Japanese Izakya. I ordered a mock tail which was so yummy!

Absolutely loved this little Japanese outfit. The interior design, fittings, lightings and chill jazz music selection gives it a very intimate and warm vibe. They have very good vegetarian options and the daily special of the parmesan and mochi spring rolls, smoked camembert was an excellent introduction leading to yummy ramen. Would come back again to try their other menu items!

We came here by recommendation and fell in love with it. A beautiful fusion of jazz, Japanese and ethical food. The food was amazing and lovely to see a wide variety of vegetarian/ vegan but also meat. The service was fantastic and very friendly. Can't wait to come back!
