Really good place to wonder around and enjoy wildlife... You'll run into some friendly birdwatchers and photographers early morning and late afternoon

Absolutely beautiful part of nature - glistening plants over the water, and birds flying in from all over the world. So many different colours of foliage.
Nice walk from Rhodes
Calm and tranquil spot in the middle of the city. Best place to park the car for access is on Parklands Cct car park near Bicycle NSW headquarters. Dawn or dusk are the best times to see the waterbirds. Nearby attractions all within a few hundred metres walks are the boardwalks over the Badu mangroves (south), shipwrecks lookout (north), Billabong creek (east). Full bathroom facilitites are on Parklands Cct at the Sydney Olympic Park Education Centre.
1st time that i have visited have promised to take my wife and have a picnic day plus a stroll to see the flora and fauna. definitely a place to visit
This place is awesome...!
Overrated. Difficult to find from the road due to no signage. Difficult to see the birds as main section boarded up. My bub could not see much as all the birds were too far in the distance. Peaceful spot and might be ok if you are just cycling past but don’t not worth going out of your way to see. Also there’s not a lot of shade so don’t visit on a hot day
So peaceful
