Interesting but not overwhelming but it has a significant meaning to the history of Australia. This was erected in 1966 (am sure a lot of Aussies are not aware of this). It faces Mitchell Library. In honour of Sir Leslie James Morshead. Absolutely beautiful and yet underappreciated memorial fountain. It's right in front of the entrance gate from Macquarie street which leads into the Governor Macquarie Memorial Fountain and the Rose garden pavilion inside The Royal Botanic Gardens. Great to bring kids here to appreciate and learn its history and significance to this city of Sydney.
Lovely.
It's a cute little park to chill out from the city.
A beautiful structure to the Southwest entrance of the Botanic Gardens, a perfect place for photo opportunities and how the fountain slightly changes colour depending on the position and angle of the sun rays.
Very nice and clean, even though I’ve never heard of this fountain before
Never knew this existed, nice fountain
Unusual piece of art
