Loved this Japanese cuisine. As a first timer at Kid Kyoto, I was totally impressed by the beautiful decor and ambience, warm and professional service. Amazing food presentation. The Watermelon Sashimi is just a dream, a must try. Highly recommend it. Left restaurant full and satisfied. Thank you. No

Beautifully done...will be back! We have been casually trying to get into this place and 3rd time was a charm. A lovely girl from France looked after us and she was very attentive even though the place was busy. The food was amazing...I mean we ordered the corn ribs thinking it would be a simple dish but they were moreish. Any place that can make something simple like corn into a divine bite I have to love...and yes the rest of the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place but best to make a reservation...oh we tried to have lunch there one Saturday and they had a limited menu (rightfully so).

Exceptional modern fusion - clever taste combinations. Don’t discount dessert, the two we had were delicious. Menu prices are very reasonable, particularly if you go for banquet options. Service was wonderful. friendly, attentive and considerate.

Me the first-timer experienced a great dinner with my partner. Lovely staffs, like the way they explained the foods. The watermelon sashimi was unexpected! Love it!

Had the valentines set menu, been wanting to try this one out for some time. Our expectations kept going up until the main dishes arrived, the prawn and pork gyoza that can only tasted pork, the beef wasn’t properly trimmed, and fried rice for a main? though it is tasty with the fish floss still too ordinary for a main. The burnt banana cream was quite nice. All in all, I feel like it’s overpriced for this set menu 95ppl and the mains were very average. Staffs are all very attentive and friendly tho.

A great Japanese restaurant to go if you are new to Japanese cuisine and want a nice dining experience with pretty interior. We got the set 60 dollar set menu. This course started with watermelon sashimi and kingfish ceviche, which was one of our favorite dishes out of the course. The watermelon sashimi was super unique and refreshing. The chicken skewers with birds nest was also the next favorite because the chicken tasted smokey and very juicy. Birds nest was also really interesting. However the main was slightly anticlimactic because it was just fried rice and more grilled chicken. The main dish turned out to be our least favorite. Though the dessert left us very satisfied. The variety of textures was awesome! My only criticism is that the ingredients were quite cheap, though the dishes were pretty innovative and creative.
