If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been a customer for over 5 years with this bank. Their service is disgraceful. I have an investment loan and asked for a period of interest only. I was asked to fill in a full application, jumped through numerous hoops, have never missed a single repayment and I was declined! No explanation, nothing but a generic email stating my application was declined. Avoid this bank like the plague, they are absolutely disgraceful.

Customer of ING for over 4 years. One day, they decide to close my accounts without providing any reason. Agents say there’s absolutely nothing that can be done. If you’re thinking of opening an account with ING, I highly recommend you find another bank.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Customer for over a decade.. they randomly wanted me to re-verify all my ID with certified copies of everything otherwise my account would all be restricted then closed. No care in the world.. no other bank has been this painful. My transaction account and savings have been with ING for years.. nothing changing. No explanations!

Banked with them and LOVED their no fees when travelling policy, their low interest rates. Even went to an ATM in Netherlands for fun . Took an extended trip to NZ (home) due to redundancy and loss of work and was treated soo poorly. Their Customer service is non existent these days. They’re rude, speak down and over you and refuse to help in anyway. Sorry they did close my accounts when requested the second time. When I answered why I was closing I was spoken over they didn’t care. So sad! You were one of the goodies ING!

If I can give zero star for ING Bank then I would. I have warned all my friends, family and extended families not to have anything to do with ING Bank and I would also like to extend this warning out to everyone. Don’t put your money in with ING Bank. Your own money can be locked away at any time without warning for extended period of time. If you put all your money in with ING, it means that you will not be able to buy life’s necessities such as food and pay your bills etc. when they choose to lock away all your own money whenever they want. When this happens you will also loose visibility into your own accounts and will not be able to check for past transactions and balances online. This means that you will not know whether they are actually trying to steal your money or not. They have a lot of bad reviews and the reason for this is because the staff members there are lacking in intelligence and wisdom to understand how to treat their customers and clients properly, fairly and righteously. This is the truth. Stay completely away from ING Bank. We don’t want to support unwholesome businesses like theirs in our great country, Australia. Terrible service

Topping my list of the most unpleasant, unprofessional exchanges I have ever had with a 'Customer Care Specialist'. Lander is quiet possibly the rudest person I have ever met. His communication style was peppered with arrogance & self-importance. Definitely an angry man with some sort of giant chip on his shoulder! Very unfortunate as I'm sure all of the other staff are just lovely.

Banked with them for over seven years, customer service has only become worse, products are no longer as competitive as they once where. Do yourself a favor look elsewhere, Macquarie bank is who we are with now; same style with better products, lower interest rates and much better customer service.

Have been a customer for years and now starting a Bank account for my small business. This is the most time consuming and complicated bank account registration for a small business I've ever done, most of the time as an existing customer (I am not even a new customer!), I could have all this done nicely online. As an online bank, it's so OLD FASHION and FRUSTRATING for ING to get things done this way, papers, snail mail, calls and email all involved
