Another good Thai restaurant in the downtown with pretty affordable price. Enjoyed everything we ordered except for the papaya salad. The dry beef was amazing, fired ice cream was delicious, though the sticky rice in the side was dry and way too sweet

Hidden inside the Shark Hotel, a great Thai restaurant. Food is reasonably priced, great tasting and good serving portions. Staff are friendly, but you can understand that they get a bit more abrupt when they get busy, and it does get busy. Famous originally for their Fried Ice-cream. Children are welcome, it's straight through the bar section, not stopping. There's also a rear entrance on Pitt Street. It can get quite busy on Friday and Saturday evenings.

A great vibrant Thai/Laos restaurant serving delicious dishes. Efficient friendly service and suitable for large parties. The charcoal chicken and the grilled ox tongue were outstanding. We all loved the avocado shake. Of course, we must order the deep fried ice cream even though we were so full.

We heard so much about this place so we had to try it, and it definitely lived up to all the hype. Amazing flavours! Not all what you'd commonly find in other many Thai/Laos restaurants. I wish there was one in Brisbane.

Sunday lunch with family. Served by friendly staff members. Food portions are generous. Almost non-waiting time even though I ordered 10 dishes. Taste very nice too!

Great Thai food, also arrived quite quick considering that we were ordering at the busiest time. Large varieties as well, huge portions for rice. Fruit shake was very nice

Eating at Holy Basil is always a treat. They have a wide range of food on their menu which will be sure to please many different people. The customer service is great, and they always make sure to ask about what spice level you like your food (it's always spicy for me!). I highly recommend the raw beef salad, the chicken feet salad, ox tongue and fried ice cream as they are my usual go tos when eating here.
