Had a great experience dealing with Matt from Hellocars. Matt was really helpful, prompt and a pleasure to talk to. 5 stars for the service and advise you provided Matt. I would recommend the subscription service from hellocars. It is a great alternative to some of the other vendors in the rental car market.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE - DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! Took out a subscription in the afternoon yesterday, drove the car home. Tried to start the car to go to work in the morning and it doesn't start. Called road side assistance who came out to check the battery and it wasn't a battery issue. Then waited a few more hours, missed out on a lot of work in the morning whilst I had to wait for the tow truck. Car is towed and they haven't provided me with a solution of a replacement... just "waiting to hear". I needed the car specifically today and more importantly tomorrow as I go away fro the weekend. Decided I would just go buy a car but they WON'T CANCEL. So now I am stuck paying for 4 months and at it seems at the moment... without a car.
This was the 1st time I had dealt with HelloCars and it was a great experience. Everything that was advertised was on the money. I would certainly recommend James and his team if you wanted to buy a car online. Very honest and upfront with everything. Very happy to give a 5 star rating and will be letting everyone I know that if they want to buy a car to give them a go. You won’t be disappointed.

Terrible experience. They will promise the world in giving you an online trade in price. I expected to be batted down a few hundred dollars, but not about 2k. Particularly when the valuer tells you that the car is in pristine condition. Then they will hold onto your deposit for the new car and you have to keep heckling them to receive the refund. After saying it has been processed multiple times and saying you should have received an email confirmation (which never came - not even in junk mail) you will receive it back a week or so later. I ended up selling my car on gumtree 2 days later for 2k more than the original trade in price and purchased the same car I was looking at through Hello Cars at another dealer with similar KMs for 1k less. EDIT regarding comments made by Hello Cars: 1. The quotation to remove the some 8 small dents was 400, which your inspector recommended not doing as you would take that into account with the valuation (should have taken trade in to no less than 10k). 2. The inspector commented that aside from the dents, the vehicle was in pristine condition and required no other work (see photos of the vehicle below). In fact the vehicle was in better condition than the Forester you showed me. 3. There was nothing wrong with the four tyres. In fact, they all had at least 4mm on all wear indicators. I had a green slip done on the vehicle prior and the tyres were certified as being roadworthy. 4. Your representatives also told me that the mirrors were broken and required replacement - this is totally incorrect. 5. The payment had to be followed up multiple times and was not processed within 24 hours. It took until the Saturday to have it processed when I requested it to be escalated to a manager. Prior to that I was told it would be processed on the Thursday before I requested it to be escalated. You should check your systems work as I was told I would have received the email multiple times and still haven't.
The most amazing experience. The true definition of Customer Service. From that first phone call, Matt guided me through the process, all my questions were answered, my email queries were promptly attended to and the subscription was finalised seamlessly. Thank you Matt and Thank you HelloCars
James and the team were fantastic to deal with from start to finish. I had plenty of questions about the whole process which they happily answered and was overall a very smooth transaction. We have had our car for about 6 weeks now and are very happy.
