Essential Energy is the worst company compare to aus grid and other company,they request every solar job need site inspection or always reject with VRC wrong.your guys know all information and intention to reject those solar applicatoin. never get touch with them

I was informed that the present Essential Energy Meter readers were not well trained and had made other mistakes in reading local meters other than mine. I am quite appalled at the way my complaint re the improperly read metre relating to my off peak water heater was dealt with. I was seriously misled by one operator on my second complaint. He only retracted his comments after I informed him I had dated photos of the three meters . I was later served with an outstanding bill with a late fee notice. Although I had been previously assured by the person from Essential Energy that re- read my meters ( several weeks later) showed that there had been an error of over reading regarding the off peak metre.. The disconcerting and continuous attempts to convince me of the need to pay the over charged amount owing to Origin was appalling slight on my ability to understand how the overcharge occurred. Luckily for me I photographed the metres when I first complained about the 86-52% increase in my bill for that quarter. . Clearly the problem occurred when an Essential Energy employer incorrectly read my one of my meters. It is singularly significant that even though the billing agents are different in my area of NSW. In most case the meter readers are employed by Essential Energy. If they get the reading wrong then good luck in getting it sorted out.
My husband and I were watching Channel 7 News tonight and were totally disgusted at how a Government owned company is treating our farmers. They only care about themselves!
Woodenbong and surrounding area is without power for last 12 hours . Old patients are struggling bcz medical facilities remained closed. Rang few times to essential energy but their staff has no information what is happening or when power would come. Really very frustrating and sufferings of the patients are not very good. Probably some legal action need to be taken against them
Bunch of crooks they charge us 1.50 a day for polls and wires but when theres a problem with supply they blame anything under the sun and never take responsibility...cowboy company , any other company will take responsibility for fail services but not these crooks

What a joke of a company...after waiting about 20 minutes to discuss business with them I was told by a robot that they were unable to answer my call and it was disconnected....disgraceful and unacceptable!
