This company offered me outstanding customer service by a lovely man named Virage. He couldn't do enough for me and was quick with email responses and his communication was flawless and polite. The product I purchased was excellent and arrived in days, but unfortunately didn't fit the equipment I already had, MY FAULT, and they were still kind enough to allow me to return it for a refund. I will be purchasing all future digital equipment from digiDirect, they're fantastic. I strongly recommend them.

Always get good deals from this place. Never have any issues. Until last month, I bought a Crumpler bag online. Things went wrong, I have been waiting for more than 1 month without good explanation. Just keep me waiting. Finally, I got it today. 5 stars is my support. I don’t mind to wait but need more communicate PLEASE.
There's a good range of equipment on display and the staff are very knowledgeable and happy to open lots of boxes to demo the products. They managed to have items in stock that other nearby camera stores said they would have to order. No problems with the transactions, so highly recommended.
Best prices in Sydney. Only gripe is the slow processing and updates of items bought online. Ordered some gear online and had to check in-store whether it's arrived. Staff are excellent and knowledgeable. Highly recommended store
Just wow. I don't really post bad reviews but this is appalling. I was there to do a product exchange with my RODE wireless microphone I've purchased through their Amazon store. I've noticed some scratches on the sides and was confirmed by Geoff ("They look like packaging scratch marks. We can arrange to exchange it for another RODE Wireless GO.") that I can do an exchange either by mail or their stores. Explained that to 'Benny' and I was told the scratch is due to me trying to 'putting in a microphone' ... it's a wireless microphone why would I stick a microphone in...? "Is that the reason why I want to do the exchange?" he asked and I replied yes. Showed him the email I've got from Geoff and prof of purchase from Amazon. When he finally went to the back and grabbed the microphone, I asked him if I could open the new microphone just to check, his reply was 'no, he's not going to open every new product just to check if there are tiny scratches. And he can't sell this one now because I've opened it. It's not manufacturing defect. If I have any problems talk to head office.' I've worked in retail and customer service myself, and this not the way to speak to a customer, no matter how much you hate your job. If I've known that I would be treated like this I would've shipped the product back. I'm not expecting anything to be done with this incident, I know how management and customer service businesses works, 'Benny' will probably just going to get a verbal warning or nothing at all (he's not wearing an uniform and works at the Bondi store as well). Rest assured, I will not spend another dime with digiDirect and definitely will not recommend anyone unless you want to be treated with unprofessionalism and attitude.
For photographers and hobbyists, Digidirect offers a wide range of camera, lens and accessories, usually at very competitive prices. It's located conveniently next to the Apple Store, and is therefore easily accessible via public transport. Staff are generally very knowledgeable and respectful. It is my go-to stores for everything photography.
Hands down brilliant experience. The Sydney shop didn’t have what I needed (did an online order for pickup) and so the warehouse express shipped it out to me directly. The Rode M5s were exceptional and the Photix LED light is really clever; in both cases the prices were the most competitive. But the service was the standout from the online team and the store was super helpful in directing me there when the local stock was unavailable.
I've walked past this place hundreds of times, assuming it would be a rip off. Only when I went looking for a new camera online did I discover it's actually one of, if not the, cheapest place to buy gear from. Oh and the staff were really friendly, and not intimidating. Definitely on my highly recommended list.
