I got into an accident where the at fault driver was insured by Dawes. Dawes contacted me for my version of events, knowing their customer was at fault they still still sent me a letter trying to scare me into paying 13k or face further legal action. I called them about the letter and said I'm not going to fall for that and politely forwarded them to my insurer. The lady on the phone quickly back pedalled and that was the end of it.

Refused to send me a copy of the pending annual renewal invoice that was negotiated on my new car via a motor insurance broker with them 12 months earlier. Much better at looking after their broker mates that refer to them than the paying customer. Despite their reasonable premiums , their attitude to customers leaves a lot to be desired.
