I have been using BFS partners to take care of my tax returns and related work, ever since their inception. They have excellent knowledge of the regulations and have been the best in terms of giving suggestions and explaining queries. They directed me in the right path to help me find my old super and consolidate it. They have taken care of my tax and related tasks, even when I was overseas with no hassle whatsoever. Appreciate the good work.
Be Ware of this company and its partners. They seem all rosy and professional when they want to attract you as a client and the main partner only can behave himself for the first one or two jobs. The downhill starts when they have to do a rather complex job (in their own words) for you such as putting a simple depreciation table for your investment property in your tax return. They have absolutely no clue about how to do this. You will miss on a lot of tax refund if you do your tax return with them. I only picked up their mistakes because I have studied accounting otherwise say GOODBYE TO YOUR TAX REFUND AS THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT. On anther occasion, we sent them in writing what is required of them and they quoted us a price which we accepted and went ahead for the job. Later we realized through our bank that they have missed a big part of the requirement. Once we asked them to complete their job they put us under pressure (as they knew we are under time pressure to submit loan documents to our bank) to pay them more money for the service they have already quoted us on!! The story continues... we agreed to pay more as we didn't have time nor money to get the whole job done by another accountant (they were aware of this and abused us knowingly) They asked us for 50% payment upfront which we paid and then did not give us the final work until we agree to pay 100% of the invoice (Our contract with them says 50% upfront and the rest of 50% payable 5 days after completion of the job). We ended up only receiving a draft document from then which was not professionally prepared thus loan rejected by bank as their numbers were not matching!!
We need an accountant who can help us to upgrade our accounting system from excel data entry transaction to quickbooks system. In the initial meeting, zaber seems reliable giving us assurance that there will be no problem further ahead. After we gave the necessary documents such as tax return, financial statements, and current accounts procedure. They didnt give any effort to help us. Eg. No enquiry, no follow up I was giving them couple of weeks, assuming they would study our current accounting system but eventually, they didnt do anything with the quickbooks nor enquire at all. I try to contact them but they dont want to pick our call.. at last, I message them but they dont reply. If you look for someone with accounting system enquiries. Dont waste your time using this accountant
